First things first: Dive into the settings and replace that default ringtone. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200 -- don't even set up your e-mail. Replace that ringtone. In fact, while you're in the Verizon store and some misguided (but well-intentioned) sales rep shows you the pre-installed task manager, have them swap it for you. You'll thank us later. So will your roommate, spouse, parent and neighbor.

We should have expected this. Large corporations seem to have a tendency to make cringe-worthy promotion videos. This video from HP promoting their integrated cloud & IT services doesn't rise to the level of that "no, really, it's a spoof" Windows Vista spot that broke our minds two years ago, but it's close.

Bright side: HP makes sure to feature a Palm Pre and Pixi in their set of solutions. Dark side: the screen on the Pre looks a lot more like it comes from iOS than webOS. Darker side: using the properties of a flying piece of shrimp to activate a capacitive touch screen. Darkest side: you can't unsee this, folks. Check it out after the break if you dare.
