Venus Pro, the new Windows Mobile 7 Phone from Dell is already available as a pre-order for only 99.99 (8GB) with 2 years contract with T-Mobile in the USA. There is also the 16Gb version for only 149.99 same, with 2 years contract. Dell promising to ship the phone this December 9th.

Some features:

* The stunning 4.1-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive, multitouch display enables easier navigation.
* With Office Mobile built in, you can operate on-the-go as seamlessly as you would at the office.
* Take your gaming experience on the road with the phone that lets you play games on Xbox LIVE.

The major feature missing from the U.S. versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab is the ability to make phone calls. (OK, some of us might consider that a feature.)

But the T-Mobile version of the 7-inch Android Tablet apparently has already been hacked to enable the voice end of things. That's what you see in the image to the right.

You're going to have to do some fairly major surgery -- and this isn't going to work on the Sprint or Verizon versions -- and then enable some of the wireless settings manually. And even after all that, you're not going to want to hold this beast up to your head.

But score another one for the hackers, and let's hope they find a way to open this up for the other carriers' devices, too.

As the rest of the world is waiting very (im)patiently for an official Gingerbread announcement, Dell Home UK issued a statement via Facebook yesterday claiming FroYo (Android 2.2) will be making the rounds to their premiere five-inch Android tablet. They didn't mention any specific dates, however, they did assure Streak owners that it would reach their fingertips by the end of November. Dell also noted that depending on your particular hardware build, you actually may not see FroYo on your Streak by the end of the month, but rest assured, you will be notification directly on your Streak when the update is ready.

The much anticipated FroYo update will begin in the UK, and work its way to other regions in the following weeks.
